How does Preventing Total Hardness [PTH] work?
The PTH/AM is not a filter or purifier, but a conditioner. The devise works on the principle of de-ionisation. When water passes through the devise and over the inner core, electron impulses are remitted into the water, bringing about electrochemical changes to the ions in the dissolved minerals, while the hydrgen bonding of the water H20 molecules are relaxed, thus decreasing the surface tension, resulting in "wetter water". The PTH devise requires a proper earth to allow for a constant flow of electrons to be released into the passing water.
PTH/M25 Water Softening System in application
The PTH/M25 Water Conditioning unit in a typical treatment application. Fitted inline after 508mm Big Blue sediment filtration on the incoming raw water supply line from a borehole. In this application required sediment treat ment and soften the borehole water to a water storage tank. From this water storage tank, water was pumped to a three stage Commercial Filtration and 300G, three stage Reverse Osmosis System. This process of softening will extend the life of the membanes and ultimatly a safe and softer water.
