The surface tension is destroyed, resulting in "wetter" water and 30% less irrigation. Water is easier and better absorbed by the hair roots of the plants, thus reducing stress and burn caused by brackish water.
The structure of hard water - especially brackish water which is in clusters, is changed to a finer structure which is noticeable in overhead irrigation as finer drops are visable.
Water perculates better into soil, reducing puddles and run-off water. The leaching properties of the water are greatly improved so that accumulated salts are leached away from root zones.
Treated water aerates and loosens soil so that clots in the soil will eventually be eliminated.
